The Revival Temple Apostolic Church welcome all races; meaning all people to become a member of the church fellowship.  We will teach the biblical requirements of becoming a member.  We pledge not to teach anything that the bible does not teach.  We welcome any questions concerning doctrinal contention on our part, or on your part.  Our efforts are to unite the christian church.

 

The doctrine of the Church and School Are:

 

1.  We believe in the oneness of the Godhead.  We don't believe that the Godhead contain's persons but rather that the Godhead is contained in one Person.  We believe that God has chosed to manifest Himself into many different manifestation as He has done to reveal Himself to His creatures.

 

2. We Believe that the Father is God, we believe that Jesus is God, we believe that the Holy Ghost is God. We believe that these three Terms do not represent three distinct personalities but rather that God has used these three Personal manifestations to represent Himself to His creatures.  He is Father in Creation, and is manifested as Son in redemption and as the Holy Ghost in salvation to the heart of the believer.

 

3. We believe that Jesus manifested as Son of God, died and was buried, and arose from the dead on third day according to the scriptures.  And that He ascended on high to in the behalf of mankind to appear as the High Priest for all believers who have confessed hope in the death, burrial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe this function is a mystery and can only be understood by those who have received the Holy Ghost.

"And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto in the Gentiles believed on in the world received up into glory." (1Tim. 3:16.)

 

We believe that this act was not to established that there are three distinct Gods in the Godhead, but rather, to show that the One distinct God manifested himself in three distinct manifestations for salvation purposes.

 

4.  For this reason we believe that the commandment given in the great commission was not to establish the idea of three distinct persons but do declare the methods that God used to bring salvation to us.  Hence the command is to "Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and , lo I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen.":  (Matt. 28:19,20)  With this understanding the Apostles baptized only in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Note this: "Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is into you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."  (Acts 2:38)  For any other imformation call Bishop Willie J.
